Product Manager in Brooklyn, New York
A proud Buckeye native, I grew up in Dayton, OH, and attended the University of Dayton where I fell in love with the Flyers, great coffee, & building companies that last.
I started as a barista at Flyer Enterprises, one of the largest student-run companies in America, and finished as CEO by the time I graduated in 2011. I was able to lead a team of 200 student employees, drive forward a company that generated over $1.3 million annually, and start two businesses before graduating college. My experience there taught me how to make an awesome latte, and how thrilling it is to build something that lasts.
After graduating, I made my way to New York City where I worked at BlackRock in digital product strategy for nearly three years before finding my way back to the startup world at Venture for America (VFA).
I joined VFA as one of the first 10 hires and spent my first couple of years building out the growth team, helping to increase the size of the program and aid expansion nationally. I returned to the Buckeye state in late 2015 and led VFA's partnership efforts in the Midwest, based in Columbus, OH, and developed the community-based model now operating in 14 regions across the country.
I returned to New York City in 2016 and spent 3 years at Managed by Q (acquired by WeWork) in roles ranging from business operations and growth to new product development. In 2019 I joined Industrious, the largest premium workplace provider in the country, as a product manager. Over the last 2+ years, I've spent my time both in the 0-1 phase, launching new products from scratch, and managing our enterprise product suite, owning the product roadmap, and delivering new features touching every aspect of the product experience (digital platform, service experience, physical space design, etc).
